I'm Not Afraid to Keep On Living

It has come to my attention that, somehow, over the past two weeks, I have become a teenybopper. Would you like to see the evidence?

I regularly refresh various websites, to see if there have been updates. (By websites, I mean My Chemical Romance's site and Pete Wentz's Blog.)

I got a twitter

I use said twitter to follow 19 different people that are somehow related to music (or they are neil gaiman, who is fucking amazing and addicted to twitter).

I actually watched the Cobra Starship stickam for more then thirty seconds. [in my defense, one of them (still don't know who's who, so there's some hope, i think, maybe) was singing happy birthday to somebody and i thought it was weird. or he was making faces at the camera. or talking about how he's made out with mikeyfuckinway]

I use the twitter (previously mentioned) to type @ replies to said people in bands (also previously mentioned)

I actually squealed like a stuck pig for a second when Andy replied to a couple of my twitters. Nevermind that I don't actually like Andy all that much (he kind of scares me with being against civilization). I squealed. And told my friends on aim.

I have bought concert dvds. I hate concert dvds. I hate concert cds. I don't hate concerts themselves, but the merchandise? yeah, there is some hatred there.

I have wikipedia'd different people mentioned in fan fiction, or on people's blogs, just to figure out exactly how they're related to different bands

I know who KTC is

I have bandom icons

While I don't actually want to sleep with anybody in Bandom (see definition of asexual for clarification, if necessary), I know who their partner's currently are (at least if they're part of My Chemical Romance or married to Pete Wentz)

I debated buying a shirt from clandestine, even though i don't like the damn bat thingie

Clearly, I am pathetic. And to counteract this patheticness, I am going to sleep. But tomorrow? Tomorrow my friend I will read more Bandom fiction and possibly help the world reinvent love, or boycott love, or something. The damn bands can't even agree with what to do with love.

*the only person i don't feel pathetic for on twitter is neil gaiman, because my neil obsession started long ago, in a land far far away called San Diego. And within the popslash fandom. I started reading Neil because somebody commented in a fic posted to LJ that it reminded them of his style of writing. I was hooked.

** maybe neil is slightly pathetic, afterall. I've met him like, three times, and have his signature of more things then i can possibly remember off the top of my head. He's neil!
