A Rocket to the Moon

So, I really like a (band/singer?) called A Rocket to the Moon. I've been listening to them for at least four or five months, which for me is a long time. They're playing in Hollywood/Pomona at the end of March, and I fully intend to be at one/both of the performances. I'm supposed to work the day between them, though, so I'm not sure i can make both. That makes me sad. It would be fun to follow a relatively small band around. = ]

One of the reasons I like this band/singer so much is because of their tendency to cover Tayler Swift songs. And make them good. I like anyone who admits to listening to country, and who covers it so wonderfully. I think it's fun. He does a cover of Our Song, and a newer one which I forgot the name of. And be fair, the Our Song Cover is totally done live and recorded on a shitty recorder, and yes, his voice is pitchy.

Because I'm super nice, I uploaded the two covers. Clicky Clicky!. I didn't upload the whole EP because I bought it legally through I-Tunes and its all protected and shit, and you'd need my password to play it. So, download and let me know what you think.

Anyways, the reason I mention this is because the main singer dude, whose name I actually don't know, has a blog. I looked at it for half-a-second and got pissed off at the music player, and the fact that he used gay as an insult. I left a comment telling him off for that, of course, but still. ETA: He's changed the post so it doesn't say gay anymore, which is good. Yay!

He had a link to one of the weirdest things I've seen in a while. It's a William Beckett doll thingamajig. Where you dress the online doll? Anyhow, check it out. It's mildly amusing, and it looks like the guy. I'm not that big a fan of TAI..., but I've at least heard of him.

(on a side note, I've grown up so much! Four months ago I'd have had no clue who he was).

Hope that makes some type of sense!
