THIS is the coolest thing, ever! I saw a netbook over the weekend and it was soo wee and tiny and cute and this one is better and I WANT ONE! I have no actual use for one, at all, and I <3 my computer to death, but still...

The One where Pete is a Fangirl At Heart:

It wasn't a secret, exactly. He just didn't mention it much in front of the other guys--didn't mention it at all, really. He just sucked it up and bought a kindle the day they went on sale. And if he spent more time reading then before, well, he blamed it on Andy and his anarchist ways. Needed to keep up his education and all.

He'd been doing it for practically forever, long before Fall Out Boy started. Back when he was still in high school and surfing the web for good porn to jack off to. He'd stumbled across the nifty archive, and eventually found the boy band section. And yes, it was slightly pathetic, but Justin was fucking hot and if reading about JC giving him a blow job turned Pete on, well, that was all there was to it.

Until it wasn't enough. Pete started giving himself rules, like: he could only read oneshots, because those tended to be straight porn without plot; and--under no circumstances was he to actually email the author's and tell them how amazingly wonderful their stories were. He was a guy, for christ's sake, and he had his own level of morals. His own code.

He couldn't admit to reading Fan Fiction.
