gemmi999 at 01:04am on 14/03/2009So, I know I said I was gone for the weekend but I forgot that my brother has internet and a computer and everything!
Concert was absolutely wonderful. Every Avenue was great, this other band--something Carolina was absolutely fucking amazing, and the others were okay. Got to meet peeps from Every Avenue and Blind Carolina (is that the name of the band? will investigate) which was cool.
But the absolute best part of the night, bar none? Nick from A Rocket to the Moon was there and I saw him and got to say hi, talk to him for a bit, and get my picture taken with him! He is so sweet and nice in person, and really tall, and it was a total surprise and yeah. It was kind of like: "hey, friend, doesn't that look like the dude from a rocket to the moon?"
"Naw, you're imagining things"
"Well, I'm gonna ask him"
And it was and yay! TOTAL fangirl moment.
Okay, I'm off to bed. Rascal Flatt's tonight and Dishwalla tomorrow! Hope everyone out there is having a fun weekend, etc, too!

ALSO, if you haven't read the MCR/Leverage crossover yet, what are you waiting for? I don't have a link right now (because i'm on my brother's computer) but if you do a delicious search it will show up. It's absolutely wonderful and has some of the best characterization of Mikey/Gerard ever! Go read, you will not be disappointed!
